Updosed to 75 ml with no problems. We're heading out of town, so Dr. Jones told us to take Zyrtec every day as a precaution. Crossing our fingers!

Updose #19

Updose went great this week, even with festivities for Independence Day! He updosed to 60 ml!

While OIT for food allergies is growing, the number of Milk allergies that have been treated is still far fewer then nuts. When researching if OIT was right for us I searched high and low for information on those who have gone through OIT for Milk. I wanted to share our journey with all those who are considering the process and for all the family and friends who are interested.

We have been following Dr. Jones' OIT progress since he began shortly after we moved away. The nearest OIT doctor is hours away from us and it would be difficult to have to travel every week (and find someone to watch all the girls). We decided as a family it would be easier for me and the kids to move across the country and live with my parents so we could go through the OIT process with their support and with Dr. Jones who we trust.

I plan to keep this updated with all the (hopefully) boring information. We want this therapy to be as uneventful as possible! Slow and steady wins the race!
